Our Mission

3DPrintMap exists to make 3D printing accessible to everyone — whether you're an engineer prototyping a new product, a hobbyist who needs a one-off part, or a small business looking for a reliable production partner.

Finding a 3D printing service shouldn't require sifting through pages of generic search results. We built a purpose-built directory so you can filter by technology, material, location, and service type and find exactly what you need in minutes.

Why We Built This

The 3D printing industry has exploded over the past decade. There are now thousands of independent print shops, makerspaces, service bureaus, and print farms across the United States — but they're scattered and hard to discover online.

Large platforms often charge high fees, take commissions, or bury smaller shops under paid placements. We believe every 3D printing service — from a single-printer home shop to a full industrial facility — deserves to be discoverable by the customers who need them.

3DPrintMap is free for businesses to list and free for customers to search. That's the deal, and it doesn't change.

What We List

We list any business that offers 3D printing services to the public or to other businesses, including:

• FDM print shops — from one-man operations to large print farms
• SLA / resin studios — high-detail resin printing for prototypes and miniatures
• SLS service bureaus — industrial nylon and composite printing
• Metal printing facilities — DMLS, SLM, and binder jetting for steel, titanium, and aluminum
• Makerspaces — community spaces with open access to printers and equipment
• Design services — companies offering CAD, 3D modeling, and design for manufacturing

How Listings Work

Listings on 3DPrintMap are sourced two ways:

• Direct submissions: Business owners submit their information via our free submission form. We review and publish listings once they have been approved.
• Curated data: We source and verify publicly available business data to ensure comprehensive coverage, especially for cities with many services.

Business ratings and review counts are pulled from Google Maps at the time of listing. We recommend checking the business's Google listing for the most current reviews before placing an order.
